Served in the Wordsworth Restaurant offering a generous range of sandwiches, scones, cakes and pastries, plus ten varieties of tea to choose from. A great opportunity to enjoy an English tradition whilst taking in the festive atmosphere.

Sparkling Afternoon Tea: £26.95 per person.
Includes full afternoon tea, a Christmas cracker and a glass of prosecco, sherry or non alcoholic fruit punch.

Champagne Afternoon Tea: £29.95 per person.
Includes full afternoon tea, a Christmas cracker and a glass of Baron du Beaupré Champagne or non alcoholic fruit punch.

Children’s Afternoon Tea: £19.95 (under 12).
Includes full afternoon tea and a Christmas cracker.

Booking is essential and must be accompanied by full payment.
Parties over eight may be accommodated in a private room.
Afternoon Tea is served at 4pm.

Our authentic log cabin is available throughout December and January for private party nights. Built in a wooded glade close to the lake,‘The Staging Post’ with its candlelit tables beside a roaring log fire provides the perfect surroundings in which to celebrate Christmas.

Thursday to Saturday: £55 per person.
Sunday to Wednesday: £50 per person.
Arrival: 7.00pm mulled wine on arrival.
Dinner: 8.00pm three courses followed by coffee and petit fours.

The bar remains open until 12.30am.

Our lunchtime and evening menu runs throughout the festive season from 29th November to 30th December (excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day). The Seasonal Menu will be the only menu served at dinner in the Restaurant from 29th November.

Lunch: three courses £38 per person, two courses £32 per person, with coffee and petit fours.

Dinner: three courses with coffee and petit fours £38 per person.

Sunday Lunch: served in the Wordsworth Restaurant throughout December £38 per person 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th December.

Our celebratory six course Christmas lunch will create the perfect, traditional Christmas Day. The Wordsworth Restaurant may be reserved for exclusive use for parties of 15 or more

Adults: £135 per person, includes a glass of Champagne on arrival.
Children: £60 (under 12).

Lunch Seatings At: 12.30pm and 1.45pm six course lunch served in the Orangery.

Evening: residents only, from 7.00pm - 9.30pm.

Light snacks available in the Wordsworth Restaurant or lounges.

After Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve everyone needs a change of air and scenery – a day in the country with a brisk walk, followed by a crackling log fire and plenty of good food.

Boxing Day

Adults: £65 per person.
Children: £25 (under 12).
Arrival: a glass of Bucks Fizz.
Lunch Seating At: 12.00pm, 12.30pm, 1.00pm and 1.30pm.
Four course lunch served in the Orangery.

New Year's Eve

Lunch Seatings At: 12.30pm, 1.00pm, 1.30pm and 2.00pm.
Table d’hôte four course menu served in the Orangery.
Entertainment: traditional jazz guitar duo.
Adults: £50 per person.
Children: £25 (under 12).

If there’s one memory from 2013 that will linger long into the new year, it’s the carefree joy of our New Year’s Eve party. This spectacular celebration of fine food and music is the unforgettably glamorous way to see in the New Year

Arrival: 7.45pm Champagne and canapés.
Dinner: 8.30pm onwards seven courses served in the Orangery.
Dress Code: black tie.
Entertainment: singer/saxophonist and disco until 1.00am.
Table Seating: all parties will be seated at their own tables.
Price: £150 per person (non-residents).
