Situated in the south of the county of Leicestershire, it is easily accessible by road from the M1, M6 and A14 and is located within 1/2 mile of Junction 20 of the M1. The Golf Club celebrated its Centenary in 2004 and is one of the longest established clubs in the county and has hosted a large number of county and regional events over the years. The course is not long by modern standards but provides a challenging test of golf for both the serious and occasional player.
Cold Ashby Golf Club - 01604 740548
www.coldashbygolfclub.com
Since it first opened in 1974, the fabulous golf course at Cold Ashby
Golf Club has undergone significant changes to keep up with all the developments that have occurred in the game.
Consequently, John Day's original design was extended by D. Croxton in 1995. The course has 27-holes so a variety of
golf can be played, and it is laid out in three loops of nine, specifically called the Ashby, the Winwick and the Elkington. It spans a total of in excess of
6300 yards whichever way you play it. It is laid out on undulating, luscious parkland that will challenge and test you no matter the level of your ability
or skill.

Fishing
If time in the country turns your thoughts towards fishing, our well-stocked lake offers excellent sport. Common carp, mirror carp, perch, roach, pike, tench and bream populate this expansive stretch of water. Many birds also call the lake their home, so there's plenty to see while you wait for a bite.
Guests are reminded that they must have a valid fishing licence and their own equipment. Only permitted for hotel residents with prior notification.
