Henry Higgins, a Professor of Phonetics comes across Eliza Doolittle, a cockney flower girl, one cold March night at Covent Garden market. He declares to his friend Colonel Pickering that in three months he could transform Eliza into a duchess.
Eliza is taken into the Professor’s household and over the course of several months is put through a gruelling course of phonetics and elocution lessons by Higgins. Eliza's moment of triumph comes at the Embassy Ball when beautiful, elegant and well-spoken she proves to be an enormous success particularly with the young gentleman Freddy Eynsford-Hill who falls desperately in love with her.
However, after the ball Eliza falls into despondency when the Professor celebrates his triumph in passing Eliza off as a duchess showing little consideration for her feelings. Unnoticed, she slips out of Higgins' house and seeks consolation with his mother and when Higgins comes in search of her, Eliza refuses to return with him.
Once home Professor Higgins realises that he has “become accustomed to her face” and Eliza forgives him and decides to return.
This Olivier Award winning musical has broken all box office records both on Broadway and in the West End and features such unforgettable numbers as ‘I Could Have Danced All Night’, ‘Wouldn’t It Be Loverly’,’The Rain In Spain’, ‘On The Street Where You Live’, ‘Get Me To The Church On Time’ and the mesmerising ‘I’ve Grown Accustomed To Her Face’.

Winner of three 2011 Tony Awards including Best Revival of a Musical, the classic Cole Porter musical comedy that has enchanted audiences for nearly 80 years 'Anything Goes', is about the lovers, liars and pranksters on a transatlantic cruise. When the S.S. American heads out to sea, etiquette and convention head out the portholes as two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love, proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, exotic disguises and some good old-fashioned blackmail.
Sailing from New York to England, the S.S. American carries a rather unusual group of passengers - American debutante Hope Harcourt accompanied by her fiancé wealthy Englishman Lord Evelyn Oakleigh and her mother Evangeline; nightclub singer Reno Sweeney; Wall Street banker Elisha Witney and his stowaway assistant Billy Crocker and gangster Moonface Martin to name but a few! It turns out that Hope is Billy's long-lost love and engaging the help of those on-board he pursues the girl of his dreams.
Peppering this hilariously bumpy journey to true love are some of musical theatre's most memorable standards, including I Get a Kick out of You, It's De-Lovely, You're the Top, Friendship and of course, Anything Goes.

Join us for a wonderful evening of festive favourites brimming with musical memories, mirth and laughter to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and the season of good cheer in the magical setting of the candlelit Orangery.
After a two year break owner Celia Mackay returns to devise and direct this special compilation of the musical and comedy highlights from her Christmas shows in the Orangery between 2006 and 2010 which were enjoyed by over twenty thousand guests.
She is delighted that four of Kilworth’s most popular West End artists are returning to entertain you this Christmas – Nicola ‘Joyce Grenfell’ Keen, Cassidy Janson, Kilworth favourite Adam Watkiss and Matthew Goodgame.
The stunning Christmas decorations provide the perfect backdrop for this fast-moving cornucopia of great music, lots of fun, laughter and a healthy dose of festive nostalgia.
