Our Civil Wedding Licence means you can choose from our four fantastic venues at Kilworth House Hotel to hold your marriage ceremony as well as your wedding celebrations. If you'd like to get married in one of our superb wedding rooms, please refer to the important information about booking your Registrar.

The Wordsworth Room
The Wordsworth Room, with its domed ceiling and glittering chandeliers, is a perfect wedding venue and can accommodate both marriage ceremonies and subsequent celebrations.

The Shakespeare Room
The Shakespeare Room brings intimacy and grandeur to a wedding ceremony. It can accommodate both marriage ceremonies and subsequent celebrations, which makes it the perfect venue for a single, unforgettable day.

The Hardy Suite
The spaciousness and relaxed atmosphere of the Hardy Suite makes this an extremely popular location for marriage ceremonies.

The Orangery
Our fully restored Victorian Orangery is an awe-inspiring wedding venue. With glorious rural views and a vibrant natural light, the Orangery will cast its magical spell over your ceremony. Why not complete the day with your wedding breakfast in there too.

NB. Ceremonies and subsequent celebrations in the same venue will require different seating, table layouts and separate room hire charges.
Wedding ceremonies must be accompanied by a full wedding package.

The Orangery
Our glittering Victorian Orangery is an awe-inspiring wedding venue. With glorious rural views and the vibrant glow of natural light, the Orangery casts its own magical spell over your day. The Orangery is available from 12 noon until 6.00pm.

The Shakespeare Room
You can't help but feel special in the Shakespeare Room. This is where you can gather with a small group of close friends to share your most important day. With its sumptuously ornate decor, the Shakespeare brings your celebration to life.

The Wordsworth Room
The Wordsworth Restaurant is more than a room, it's an experience - one that has been central to dining and entertaining at Kilworth House for several generations. Available until 6.30pm.

The Cellar Bar

For an evening event, the Cellar Bar is the ideal setting.
This informal bar contains recesses with comfortable seating for quiet conversation - and plenty of space for music and dancing until midnight.

An additional private room for an evening buffet is also available at no extra charge.

Please note that to mimimise disturbance to our other guests, music with loud bass is not allowed in the Cellar Bar.

Every wedding day treatment comes with a complimentary glass of Champagne or Buck's Fizz. If your favourite beauty treatment is not listed, just ask. We'll do our best to accommodate you.

And nowhere is more memorable than Kilworth House Hotel, the traditional backdrop to a modern relationship. Arranging your partnership is straightforward because Kilworth House is already an approved site for the registration of civil partnerships. All you have to do is notify the registrar in advance.

Important Notes on Booking Your Marriage Ceremony

If you wish to hold your marriage ceremony at Kilworth House Hotel you must telephone the Registrar to check availability. By law only the Registrar can book your marriage ceremony and without two Registrars your marriage cannot take place. Until you contact the Registrar you have only booked the room at Kilworth House Hotel, not the marriage ceremony. If the Registrars are not already committed they will be happy to take a booking from you, however availability cannot be guaranteed.

The Registrar will not accept a booking for your marriage ceremony unless you are legally free to marry, ie neither of you is awaiting a Final and Absolute Divorce Decree.
