A Shower of Applause: Final Farewell to Singin' in the Rain at Kilworth House
As the curtains close on Kilworth House Theatre’s summer production of Singin’ in the Rain,
we take a moment to celebrate the success of this classic musical. Running from 18th June to
28th July 2024, the show has captivated audiences and delivered a memorable experience in
the heart of Leicestershire.
This adaptation of the 1952 film, brought to life by the creative team behind Hairspray, has
been a standout highlight of Leicester's event calendar. Set in the glamourous 1920s
Hollywood, Singin’ in the Rain transported audiences back in time.
Kilworth House Theatre’s rendition of Singin’ in the Rain was more than just a performance; it
was a captivating experience. With iconic songs like ‘Good Morning,’ ‘Make ‘em Laugh,’ and
‘Singin’ in the Rain,’ to the dazzling dance routines and hilarious comedy routines. This show
